Refuse Removal

In terms of the Local Authority Act 23 of 1992, Bukalo Village Council is mandated to provide refuse removal services to the residents within its town lands. In exchange the residents are obliged to pay for this services as gazetted in the council’s tariffs as updated annually.

    Bukalo Village Council mandate derives from Article 1 and Chapter 12 of the Namibian Constitution, and the Local Authority Act, 1992, (Act 23 of 1992) as amended, and is:

    To Govern and administer local authority affairs within the proclaimed local authority area of Bukalo subject to legislation.
