Environmental Health division is responsible for eliminate all health related hazards, conditions and nuisances at workplaces, business premises, living areas and the environment in order to prevent possible contraction of disease and to enhance the quality of life in Bukalo Village Council.
In our efforts to achieve the above, Health division render effective food hygiene program, and ensure a safe and sound working environment at workplaces. The division ensure prevention and the control of diseases in the town, create and maintain a controlled business environment.
The Environmental Health division enforces the Public Health regulation, and all the Health Regulations promulgated in accordance with the Local Authority Act 23 of 1992.
